Role
A senior web designer, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Kazakhstan, Jacob is the creative force behind the dynamic team that is Jacob and Eric. He is passionate about design, art, media, the Montreal Canadians, and very particular about his poutine. Jacob can usually be found bothering his girlfriend via instant messaging, negotiating compromises with terrorist regimes, and practicing full contact origami.
A Little Bio
After not qualifying for the National Lumberjack competition at age 18, Jacob resigned himself to his future in the web industry with the help of drowning his sorrows in maple syrup. Bouncing back from defeat, he now channels his logging passion into Jacob and Eric. He is living proof of a survivor.
Skills
Jacob is an accomplished and experienced graphic web designer who is also skilled in search engine optimization, communication and support. He likes to deconstruct the complex into simple, elegant formats without compromising utility. Jacob would also like to mention that he can beat Mega Man I, II and III in under 28 minutes, which is apparently no easy feat.
Experience
Jacob received a degree in both Business Multimedia and Computer Science at the college level prior to working at a web design firm for two years. He has freelanced since 2002, and consulted for several firms as a senior web designer, WordPress engineer, and SEO consultant.
